Her Segment “Sientate, quiero contarte algo” presents profiles of Latinos who have a positive impact in their community.  On the weekends versatile Cecilia is the weather anchor!  Until recently Cecilia was widely regarded as a top entertainment television reporter and producer in Los Angeles. Her ¡A que no sabia! Segments gave her audience the latest entertainment news and buzz from Hollywood and Latin America.

During the last nine years with Univision, Cecilia has accumulated an impressive body of work that includes Spanish-language exclusives with a wide array of Hollywood A-listers, including Russell Crowe, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Tommy Lee Jones, Julia Roberts, as well as giants in the Latino entertainment world such as Shakira, Juan Gabriel, Enrique Iglesias, Alejandro Fernandez, Juanes and many others. Bogran’s experience also includes a number of special assignments such as the last five Academy Awards red carpet arrivals, live reports from the Rose Parade and red carpet and post celebration bash coverage for the Grammy and Latin Grammy ceremonies.

During her career, Cecilia has covered much more than the entertainment industry. She has reported on a number of national and international events such as the 2001 earthquake that devastated El Salvador and Hurricane Mitch that leveled Honduras in 1998. She is also an accomplished producer with an impressive list of credits that include, “Nuestros Niño’s Primero” an award winning public education series aimed at providing Latino parents with vital information regarding their children’s’ health. She also served as a regular producer for KMEX 34’s highly rated morning shows “Primera Edicion” and “Los Angeles al Dia.”

In 2005, Cecilia was honored by the Los Angeles Press Club as “Best Entertainment Reporter.” Cecilia is also recognized on a local and national level as a top notch producer of public education campaigns. In 1999, she was awarded the C. Everett Koop M.D. Media Award for best Spanish-language PSA for Univision 34’s breast cancer awareness campaign. The Organization of Los Angeles Workers (OLAW) also honored her for her efforts on Univision’s “Get Out the Vote” voter education campaign.
